We have chosen the best place in Tucson for our first Retreat - The Arizona Inn - a delightful old traditional Tucson garden inn with afternoon tea, croquet and a lovely swimming pool as well as tennis courts, library, a great lounge, an elegant dining room, great gardens and a charmingly typical 'Old Tucson' neighborhood.
ITINERARYCHECKIN - 3:00 PM CHECKOUT - 12 NOONApril 11 - Meet at the Audubon Lounge (Arizona Inn). Welcome, overview and light fare.
April 12 - Meet at 10:00 AM for a brief discussion of day's sketching at the Inn. Lunch in the Audubon Lounge. Afternoon sketching, including at the pool. Wine hour and 'critique' in Kath's patio room. Dinner your choice. April 13 - Meet at 10:00 AM (brief discussion on sketching in a public space) to depart to the Arizona Sonora Desert Museum to sketch for the day. Lunch on the grounds. Depart at approximately 3:30 PM for a dip in the swimming pool at the Arizona Inn. Critique at Kath's room. Indonesian dinner at a private home. April 14 - Meet at 8:00 AM (quick discussion, then walk to the trolley to ride downtown to the Barrio (historical neighborhool where people don't get up early on Sunday so it's quiet) to sketch. Lunch at the Cafe' al La C'Art on the grounds of theTucson Museum of Art . Sketch and/or tour the Museum, or shop. Meet at 4:30 to walk to El Charro, the legendary Mexican restaurant in Tucson for dinner and a critique. Return to the Arizona Inn. April 15 - Departure. Kath will meet at the Arizona Inn in the morning to sketch with anyone waiting for a later departure, if appropriate. REGISTRATION FOR RETREAT

*Space is limited. Only 12 spaces available. Cost $2075 per sketcher in single room. Two beds available: ask for quote
*Transportation to/from included activities may be by van or private car, depending on the size of the group
*There may be additional entertainment
*Bring walking shoes, sunblock, a hat, a refillable water container, a swimsuit. Weather may range from about 90 degrees in the afternoon to 60 degrees at night. Tucson is very casual in dress. Shorts are appropriate anywhere in the daytime.
*Most meals are not covered
*Payments by credit card will be charged an additional 3.5%
