I watch your program on Oregon Public Broadcasting and have even arranged my schedule so I don't miss any. I'm fairly new using your method and love it. Can't quite get enough of this versatile plein air technique and with each new drawing/painting I discover something new. It's so fun, easy and exciting! Thank you for sharing this fun and unique technique with so many of us. The possibilities are endless!!!

I was able to locate Kath's series online at our local PBS station and watched season one TWICE trying to practice her techniques. I was amazed how much I enjoyed limiting the size of the sketches as well as limiting the time spent working on each one! Thanks to Kath's Pocket Sketching techniques, I've found the perfect creative outlet that will work for me even as I travel and camp around the country! Thannks Kath for opening my eyes to the possibility of creating watercolors that I probably would have never tried before watching your series! I'm hooked!

I saw the first season of pocket sketching on OPB during 2020. It was so much fun; it made me sketch all around my backyard while we were stuck at home with COVID-19 distancing. I am hoping there will be a Season 2021. Will there be? Portland, OR needs this!

Watching your show on PBS inspired me to try sketching. I live on a beautiful farm with great views over the Willamette Valley. Your kit containing everything needed in a portable package is so convenient and easy to use. I'm really enjoying trying a new experience at age 76. Thank you, Kath!

The PBS pocket sketching show was so inspiring! I travel for long periods in our RV and tried and failed to set up and paint with my standard watercolor set up. Just too time consuming to pull it all together when painting time was often very limited. The immensely portable and flexible pocket sketching set up is perfect for quick starts and stops and easy to carry.....Quite an interesting style change for me, but by using simple, inexpensive, portable materials, the show really has encouraged me to try things I wouldn't have done otherwise. Can't wait for more episodes!

I LOVE your program on my local (Oregon OPB) PBS channel. I have been a "sketcher" from early teenage but have been "afraid" of paints. However, I have an overwhelming desire to learn to do watercolors and was so excited to find your program. Last year my husband had a massive stroke in mid-January and as if this weren't enough stress/anxiety Covid-19 followed very shortly which cost me my job and now my husband will never be able to work again. I'm kicked but not down ... But I need something to raise my spirits and give me a breather from being a care partner to my husband. I feel learning pocketsketching will be an answer to this and I am anxious to begin. I have your set and as soon as we can settle into a smoother routine of care I believe this will be a "life-saver" for me. It is my heartfelt wish that you can find your needed sponsors - I would love it if you were on more than once a week!

My mom loves to watch PBS. Thanks to her, I was introduced to your class. I enjoy the way you teach. Through the series you have motivated me to start again with watercolor. You have changed my view of how I see my new watercolor set and sketchbooks. I'm not afraid to use them in my surroundings. I'm having fun! Thank you Kath very much for what you do on PBS.

I was very impressed with the program. I was amazed to learn what beautiful artwork can be achieved with simple sketching and watercolor and minimum supplies. I was disappointed not to see more programming. I would like to learn more and would appreciate more shows to help me. Thank you.

I want you to know that I love, love, love Pocket Sketching. I saw you on my PBS channel one day, and the rest is history. I bought your "goodies" and I am sketching away. I've always loved the look of dreamy, "impressionist," soft watercolors and so finally dove in with your help! I even put the PBS app on my desktop PC so I can watch your shows again and again! Your informative and fun lessons on PBS reignited my love for painting, which I now realize that I had foolishly dropped. You reminded me of the simplicity of painting and the great joy that it brings. I'm very grateful and looking forward to seeing you on PBS in season three, four, five, etc.
